The gift was received with euphoria; it was love at first sight; every detail was scrutinized. My husband ended up looking at his sleeves more often than at me. Maybe it was narcissism, and it reflected in the cufflinks? And what's more, he didn't even bother to poke his nose out of his bag, intoxicated by the scent!
